WorldChampionBull.com uses publicly accessible professional bull-riding data to create an independent statistical reference for bucking-bull fans.

Source

Ride, event and standings records come from the PBR Data API, PBR's public interface for raw ride and event data from its scoring system. We synchronize on a schedule, normalize the records into our own database, and generate every page from that store — the site never queries PBR's systems when you load a page.

WorldChampionBull.com is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Professional Bull Riders, LLC.

What the numbers mean

Out
One trip out of the chute — one bull/rider matchup.
Bull score
The judges' score for the bull's performance on an out, up to 50 points. 45+ is elite.
Buckoff %
Share of outs where no qualified 8-second ride was recorded.
WC Bull Score
PBR's championship-race score for a season, built from a bull's best outs.

PBR statistics vs. our calculations

Career and season summary statistics are taken from PBR's own aggregates where the API provides them. Derived figures — head-to-head matchup tables, career milestones, record rankings and the site-wide totals — are calculated by WorldChampionBull from the ride-level records, and are labeled accordingly at the bottom of each page.

Coverage

Ride-level data for the sport's earliest era (1994–1999) is only partially present in the source API, so some historic champions show limited or no ride history. Statistics reflect the data available at the most recent synchronization (Aug 29, 2026) and may differ from official records.
